Default Laptop needed! - down to 3! HELP!!

I'm still on the hunt for a laptop and got it down to 3 or 4 now. Can any bods out there look at the specs and see whats best for me. They all have their pro's and cons!! Remember its only going to be used at shows etc so wont be carried around too much (so size/weight doesnt' matter), but it must have 512Mb RAM minimum!

Take a looky pls!....

1) HP Pavilion ZD8007EA http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/uk/en...-25933497.html

2) Sony Vaio VGN-FS115B
http://vaio.sony-europe.com/ShowProd...uct=VGN-FS115B

3) Rockdirect Pegasus PTi-1.7

Cheers

I'd go for the HP as well. It has PCI express graphics, which is a bonus. Bit of a downer that it has the P4 processor though.. so I would expect battery life to be less on this model than the others.
I'd still say avoid the Sony as they really are pain beyond belief when they go wrong!
Never heard of the last lot so I'd generally avoid them.

Out of the 3 i'd actually go for the Vaio, I've had one for the past 2 years with no problems. It has more vga memory then the HP for a start

dunno about the overheating but in my experience they have driver issues, and rebuilding them is a real pain... especially if you're trying to avoid using a recovery cd and losing the contents of your hard drive.

Personally i wouldnt got a 17" screen unless its solely a desktop. As when i was looking for a laptop i was thinking about getting one. But when i seen how big it was it would have been a nightmare to cart around and i need mine to be quite mobile.

I got a New Packard beel as i had it cheap, lot of peeps dont rate them for somereason but i gotta say its mint for what i want with everything on it and i got it cheap too lol. Only complaint is battery life is crap! Maybe because its a P4? But personally if i was buying a new one it would have been a HP which i was going to go for until the PB came along cheap.
