Default Avo or gaz for a frst?

I know this has more than likely been asked a thousand times but what do you all think is better?
I'm going to be buyin a set of coilovers in the 2 weeks an just after some opinions on both brands iv had a 2nd hand set gaz's befor that was fine but the finish on them dosent seem to be last that long iv been told they can be nickel coated but not sure if its much longer lasting? Iv not had avo's myself so any info on them would be appreciated

Chris
