I've had my Autobrite HD lance a couple of weeks and have had it out twice. Still a bit of trial and error going on getting my mixture right but boy is it effective especially on a very dirty car

its very useful and effective if you use it right....when i clean the 3dr i never have to use a bucket or Mitt.... i rinse the car to soak with water then snowfoam leave it to dwell... then blast off and that includes the underside... then i dry with a garden leaf blower....nothing except water and chemicals have touched the paintwork... cutting the chances of swirls etc accuring.

but then again i suffer with OCD

I never let my car get very dirty either it never goes more than a week without a wash or more than around 30-50 miles driving wise without getting washed but since it is white, dirt that gets picked up on the boot and on the side skirts get shifted with ease and leaves you with a good clean base to start washing with a mitt. Like I said only owned the snow foam lance 2 weeks but if you don't let your car get dirty then imo it isn't totally necessary. It does work well on a dirty car as I tried it on the old man's BMW hadn't been washed in maybe about 3 months and was actually impressed at what it lifted off.

of course it is... you can wash the car with no form of cantact...read my above post unless i get caught out with the cossie then i never have to use a wash mitt ..... to wash or dry... no cantact is better than contact.

i like a bit of snow foam, but it doesn't seem to stay on long.
i've used JWAC and that doesn't seem to stick even with a 30% mix on the bottle.
i'm now trying out valet pro2 stuff, it seems to be better, but again a 30% ratio in the foam bottle doesn't seem to last more than a couple of minutes before it runs down and thins off exposing paint to the air.
just changed pressure washer as the last one was pulsing, only a nilfisk120bar one though.

has anyone decided on which is th ebest lance to use then?
and product?

i've wanted to get one for ages but there always seems to be a trade off between what is good one week and what is better/worse the week after
