Swissvax is some of the most expensive stuff out there! I bought some Werkstat stuff for my Focus which I thought was expensive enough!

Do you have a hover system implanted into your seat Mat so you aren't actually sitting on it?

Foam Lance: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=206996

Pressure Washer not sure. Many recommend the Nilfisk C120 which is what I have but I've gone through 3 of them under warranty as they just aren't built robust. It is a good unit though but they will break over time.

First off just jet the car down to remove the big stuff

Then foam and leave it to do its thing

Then jet off again

Dojj if your only washing your car once a year stick to washing up liquid in a bucket

If you rinse prior to foam it wont sit on the car aswell, foam then rinse is better imo

Essentially Dojj, they are all similar but the more expensive one have more product with them. The crux is buying the snow foam lance attachment then you are free to use whatever chemical you like. Megs Hyper Wash is one that is touted by many as a good snow foam agent (it is what I use to wash the car with when I use a bucket and mitt anyway) but I went for deal 1 which is the 500ml magifoam and foam lance attachment. The guys at Autobrite are very helpful also so just explain to them what you want and they can advise.

Maybe mix needs adjusted, have a play with different ratios etc.

Also, how long are you leaving to dwell? Good 10mins at least is needed for it to work.

ok chaps, i just bought a karcher foam attachment at the weekend, and had a go.

it does foam, but it just runs off the car! if i leave it, it just goes a bit watery and runs off???

is it the chemical stuff im using? cant remember what it is as a mate lent it to me.

it did soften all the shit in the roof gully bits of the scoob as when i went over them witht he jet washer i had to do each side for a few mins as the shit just kept coming out!!

i didnt get a pic of how it foamed, but the karcher nozzle thing is not adjustable, and i thought it was

might have wasted £20 unless its the chemical im using?

i used it saturday night, gave the cars a going over with the washer first, then foamed but it still needed a sponge, so sunday morning i foaed onto dry bodywork and it still ran off. also washed with the sponge then rinsed and dried.

both the cars need a good clay and mop tho

That's how mine works. Lance looks very similar but I use the ph neutral cherry foam liquid. About an inch of chemical in the lance tank mixed with hot water then gun it on with a k series karcher
