Default Knocking sound when turning wheel at low speed?

As title my civic has just started to do the above, it's only at low speed when parking etc. I can't feel anything through the steering wheel itself.

What's it likely to be?

I wouldnt be doing it myself.

Im not complaining anyway, all its needed in 3 years is a wheel bearing(apart from tyres, brakes etc)

It's not that hard to do yourself, although you will need a big socket and breaker bar etc for hub nut and ball joint breakers etc so if you don't have the tools then it'll probably be cheaper to pay for someone else to do it.

Right just had a test on the way home and i made it clunk when the wheels were straight. This was crawling in 1st grear. Then I stopped and as soon as I pulled away clunk again. When I change to second and speed up abit it goes away.

Not cv joint then??

It's having a tyre on Friday at my mates garage so we will have a look when it's on the ramps.
