Default Which Dump Valve ? '92 Saph 4x4 - advice please !

Hi All,

Have always had a dump valve on all my previous RS Turbo's and would like to fit one to my Saph now. Know they're not everyones cup of tea but I really like them !

Always had Bailey Piston Type before but are these suitable for a Saph ?

Whats the difference between one of these and a Recirc one or a twin-split one ?

Any help greatly appreciated !

Thanks,

DW.

Just went through this myself with my Sapphire 4x4 which was fitted with an original bosch valve on the top of the intercooler and connected to the air filter hose. I've got a bailey piston on the inlet hose and it sounds great. Lots of people go for this or a forge. There is a noticeable sound difference but its just what you fancy really. Have kept the bosch valve if this noise starts to do my head in. Have fun choosing!

So whats the sound dffernce then ? Thought a dump-valve was a dump-valve !! Is a forge better than a Bailey ?
