I've been given the task of finding a replacement for my next door neighbours unreliable and wanked out old piece of shit passat!

She wants me to find a cheap Mondeo or Vectra sized car. Only firm requirements are that it has to be an auto and can't be green in colour (), she's not bothered if it's an estate or hatch or whatever.

It doesn't have to be mint, just needs to be a solid reliable car.

She doesn't want to spend much more than £500 really even though I have explainer to her that ideally she needs to spend a bit more to get something proper decent.

Anyone got anything knocking about or knows of anything?
