Default T34 & T35 Difference's??

Can anyone give me a heads up on the differences between a t34 & t35 turbo?

As I've been looking in to different people's spec's etc with a view to getting my next saff up to around 420bhp.

I have read up on here that the housings sizes pretty much dictates when the boost will usually kick in but i'm unsure on the differences between the two??

Any advice would be appreciated.

Same turbo, 3 different exhaust housings .48, .55 & .63

You wont see 420bhp from a t34 tho.

Not even with a 0.63? Genuine question by the way, but i thought it was achieveable, just.

I'm a proven on 407bhp on .48... Wringing its neck at 36psi... If I rung a .63 I bet it would see 420... So saying one won't do it is not exactly true ... People don't play hard enough

You may well see 420 out of one yes, but how long for ? He asked about spec for up to 420bhp, how many people would reccomend a T34 at this power level? Lol

Agreed, for responsiveness then it's a very good choice though over a T4 for example. All depends what you want at the end of the day.

Paul I wasn't recommending mate .. I was correcting what you said " you won't see 420 from a T34"... Nothing more..!

T38 be better for a comfy 420 tho .

Ok maybe I should have worded my first reply differently, either way and I'm sure most would agree a T34 is not the turbo to be looking at if you are wanting that sort of power.

As you mentioned Mat, that's T38 territory.

It's so the correct way mate I agree ... I'm just different and wanted low lag... Only down side is they run out Of steam the smaller you go .

So a T35 turbo is basically modified T34?? Internals / housings etc.

Are the T38 turbo's interchangeable with a T34? Exhaust mounting & straight forward set up? Or is there other parts needed to carry this upgrade out?

Cheers

call cr turbos ask for vince he will convert a t34 for you its just a t34.63 with the housings machined to take the bigger turbine shaft and comp wheel to t38 spec, i had mine done not that long ago by him sold it now as gone for more power, good for a reliable 400bhp up to around 450 if wanted.
or theres a tt t38 dont know much about this one tho

I asked the same question on here, about t34/35 differences.

People said they were the same turbo. They aint.
2wd t35 is .55 trubine housing larger high flow comp wheel, double waste gate arm 5 degree cut back high flow exhaust wheel
TT 360 bearing -34 actuator
