they would fit fine using a 195 50 tyre which is stock on RST alloys, but I do agree that would look bad as they only suit cars of that era

 

Get some escort cossie wheels put on.

 

Have to agree with the others S2 rims are a hard wheel to put on anything other than a mk4 escort tbh . They will totally ruin the look of the ZS , whereas a set of Escos rims will look spot on

Escos wheels are like Ł400-Ł500 .. havnt got that sort of money atm ... WOuld love a set though, dont get me wrong!!!

Was thinking of painting them in a gunmetal grey colour too....

Im sure i saw a pic on google of one too.... ill go have a butchers for it now...

 

You dont have to get Escos rims theres plenty of other wheels out there to choose from that look good . At the end of the day you fit what you want its your car

You're right though, there is a lot to choose from, never been a fan of the gti style alloys, s1's wouldnt look right at all.... xr2/xr3i are out the question lol.. im just thinking of Ford wheels off escorts + fiestas that might look nice, i like being different lol..

 

if you like them then get them bought and fitted as its the only way you will learn

Iv got a blue car mate,, and was thinking gunmetal grey wheels for it , rather than gay-black... lol.. black wheels are pony IMO because you cant really see the rims design....lol

anyway i'd be more concerned that the wheels are wrapped in decent rubber than what they look like

Mondeo 16's would give the Escort Cos looks without the cost and headaches of the offset being miles out
