hi am new here,i have a 51 plate fiesta,and the clutch has given up the day after it passed its mot ,how hard are they to change?i am engineer by trade but have never tackled anything like this b4,am i gonna b way outta my depth,or can sum1 with a fair ammount of engineering abilty cope lol,its a basic finacial thing i can buy a clutch for 80quid and do it myself or the garage want nearly 300 to do it,so was hoping for sum helpful advice,as well as sum abuse prolly for owning a heap lol,cheers....ment 1242cc obv

 

Not too hard at all. I can do them in around 2hrs on a driveway. I would recommend getting yourself a Haynes manual if youre new to this sort of thing.

Easiest clutch ever,lol wish they were all like fiestas try doing a mondeo tdci one:-( a garage should want any more than Ł120 in labour mate
