£1500,perhaps a touch more with the hg being done.
Hateful cars though they do handle well, can't think of a worse time of year to sell though?

How good is the bodywork and hood on it?

If it's in very good condition £2500 at least.

If the hood is ropey and the body isn't great more like £1800-£2000

A nice example of the much less popular 1.6 I know just sold for £2400 two weeks ago. In the same condition a 1.8 would fetch £3000 or close to, but that was in excellent condition.

Fantastic little cars though, a dream to throw around the lanes.

My MGF is currently for sale on mg-rover.org and I think I paid £3 to be a temporary seller.

Roof is mint! Was replaced 2 years ago, has the heated rear screen!! Body work is good, a slight rust bubble on the boot and the usual stone chips on the bonnet, other than that its all good, flow through the mot so its solid on the underside to

I'd put it at a minimum of £2000 by the sounds of it, up to around £2500 possibly.
