ive built a zetec turbo for my series 2, im running a focus rs gearbox. i bought it with the focus rs clutch kit and slave too. im upgrading the clutch plate to a ap 6 paddle. as for the slave- it looks ok, but should i replace it anyway? and if so, does it have to be genuine?

 

I would change since the box is off the engine.

 

I would do purely to safeguard you havin to remove the box again incase the slave goes pop down the line.

Either OE or LUK (who make the ford ones) - about 60-70 quid

 

i didn't bother with mine, but it had only done 27k from new, it would be a pig to change if it went though.
