Default National B licence and ARDS test

What's involved?

My local tracks are Brands and Snet (closest).

What is the first step? Costs? What will this allow motorsport wise?

Anyone else on here gone through the process and want to offer advice to a potential newbie to it all

As said buy a go racing pack from the msa ( Motorsport association)then get a medical, book your ards test, both brands and snetterton do them, learn all the flags( 100% pass in the test is required!) then take your ards test, this is a written test then the flag test then a practical test on track, don't drive like a mad man go steady but not slow and just don't go off and you will be fine.
This will get you a national B licence which covers most club racing in the uk

If you have a Nat A Speed can you upgrade to a Nat A Race or do you have to start at Nat B again?

Lol Steve,
If I was still up north I'd probably do the same as you mate. As I'm down south again the QMN looks to be a good challenge.
Ya don't see too many mk2 Granadas on track (that are not bangers).
Hope I can bring it all together. Car needs quite a bit of work to get up to regs e.g. a roll cage.

Hi, do you have to run restrictors in turbo,s? I fancy using my 3 door rallycar as its so costly with tyres to do rallying . I have a National A licence, should this be ok? Also how much are the entry fees roughly? Cheers
