Morning all,

First post here - so apologies if its in the wrong section! My girlfriend's 1.7 Puma has developed an oil leak, that appears to be at the nearside front end of the gearbox....





Unless I'm missing something obvious, it doesn't appear to be a difficult job to replace? All the surrounding area - driveshafts, etc remain dry of oil - it just appears that this end gasket is weeping.

First off, has anyone an idea of the part number and approximate price of the replacement gasket? And any recommendations for replacing gearbox oil for the Puma?

a gasket is about 12 from ford, normal gear oil not a bad job to do
