Default Engine worries

Having just built a 1.8 zvh I am getting a worrying amount of smoke out of the exhaust, so much so im thinking of starting a smoke machine company. How ever the smoke is only there at idle. Im only 100 or so miles into the running in of the engine so still on 20/50w oil should i be concerned at this stage?

if it is blue smoke, change the oil for 10/40 and see if that fixs it.

i put 10/40w in to start with but then did some reading around and came too the conclusion that 20/50w. im at a total loss as too what too do really. gonna do a leak down test as well as i have a feeling the rings may well be at fault here. just gutted if they are after the hard work me my old man and my mate put into this engine.
