Around the 03 reg, i want the saloon version, talk to me are they any good?...I note MSD can get them to nearly 500bhp Any tips.

Running costs can be biblical if something major breaks. I believe suspension can be especially troublesome, a lot of people change the air suspension stuff for Bilstein PSS coilovers I think, saves a lot of hassle over long term ownership, the original setup is expensive to fix and hard to troubleshoot.

Looking at the F360 in your sig though, assuming you can run that, the RS6 should be okay!

 

Avant is the only one I'd have!

 

I want the B5 RS4, Avant only and hard as fuck!

 

If you want an audi then the rs4 is a much better car in terms of handling and alot less problems,they also offer a super charger kit for it that takes it to 520 hp..

The rs6 has gearbox problems suspension problems brake problems and turbo issues..

The later rs4 4.2 v8(same as r8) is a much better car with the later 60/40 split manual 4x4 transmision and they did alot of work on making the front end lighter so it handles much better than the older rs6..

As a lover of all things Audi this may just be the best & most sensible car you will have owned Phil .

 

awesome cars drive like a train you can drive at stupid speeds and it just sits there all comfy and well mannered lol , stay with the saloon m8 there's less about than the estates boots massive in the saloon anyway,
you want one with upgraded suspension as std audi stuff goes wrong all the time and make sure the gearbox is ok should be super smooth,
and get a warranty there bloody expensive to fix.....
lastly watch out as mine got stolen grey saloon,grey leather, coil overs, + drilled discs, and very rare the solar panel sunroof
if you get one have fun but make sure you got plenty pennies in ya pocket you need em for the fuel that jumps out the back lol

 

i had a saloon one. awesome cars and very quick as standard,let alone modded.
get one that has had the suspension changed from the audi set up as they are problematic.heavy on fuel,but i suppose you must expect that.

 

Avant is where its at.................AWESOME CARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT

I knew ia guy who was a proper petrol head, and very wealthy....He has Astons, Ferraris ect....He had an RS6 and got rid of it as it was too expensive to run and maintain........They aint cheap but they are proper cool

 

Watch the auto box on them there a nightmare and very expensive when they go wrong!!
