hi, just running in my s2 in at the moment and been thinking of what power to expect, ive covered 600 miles now so ive plugged the amal valve back in and the cars now running 15psi and feels alot quicker than it was when before the rebuild!, 165.9bhp on standard intercooler and a K&N at 15psi.

Now my car has had since the rebuild is as follows:

Forged low comp pistons 7:8.1 1mm overbore
Gas flowed head with Kent cvh 34k
GRS Front mount with water spray
Full Magnex
Lightned and balanced throughout, standard rods.
Stage 2 Turbo

I want to break the 200bhp barrier, when its run in and setup im gonna run 20psi

Anyone got similar spec? or what bhp should i expect to see?

 

just rebuilt mine to pretty much the same spec as yours but only covered 300 miles so far. im also hoping for 200+ once run in, a bit anoying not been able to open it up

 

yeah tell me about it, cant resist it though today, done 600 miles now without a problem so i thought id give it some boost, havent been booting it though well just once

 

probably get about 199.99bhp mate seriously though i think with a stage 2 turbo and a decent gas flowed head you should see 200bhp

was 2 weeks today an u guessed it its not ready will be done monday though fingers crossed bloody better be as got a week off next week to get car done.......

 

i have v similar spec on my rebuilt engine and i am going for 230bhp,
running 18-19 psi i think

 

i have standard bottom end and head which has been rebuilt wiv stg 2 turbo cvh 35 grs intercooler k n performance plugs and leads had it rolling roaded and got 206 bhp wiv loads of torque at 1 bar so u should have no trouble but its all about the torque

 

where you gonna take yours to be setup? atp?
