Default Trying to insure a transit recovery Truck Help please

Hello looking to insure a transit recovery truck

My problem is every quote i do it just comes up as a normal van so the price is going to be different

Is there any instant quote things online.

I don't Want it for reward and hire its for my self to collect cars im buying

So is buisness related

Just spoke to one company and they wont insure me for buisness but personal would be ok?

Any help id appreciate

My mate has a transit recovery and it costs him 12k to insure.

he pays 12k a year insurance? I presume he must do 24 hour recovery as a business to pay that much?

I tried getting online quotes for the same thing, no joy.
I gave up on the idea, but Tradex is the place to go on the phone.

You want cover for own use, not hire or reward.

He has two transits which are available 24 hours a day. 365 days a year.
He knows how to charge lol

Is that on par for business use as a recovery truck or is it typical rip off NI??? You guys seem to get anally raped on so much stuff.

I cant believe irish drivers are all that retarded to justify it.

The problem with N.I. insurance isn't down to the drivers being higher risk etc it's down to the fact that personal injury claims are higher due to them being settled by a Judge rather than a jury like the rest of the UK.
