Default Wheres the best place to put the EGT Probe?

Hi,

Bought a AEM EGT Gauge and not sure where to put the probe? On the Cosworth 2wd manifold there is 2 flat circles can i tap one of these and put it in there?

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Unless you are going to change the probe or inspect it regularly then it's best to mount it straight after the turbo in the exhaust, this way if the probe breaks up etc over time it won't destroy the turbo on the way out

Not ideal location i know but is the safer option,

Will it still be fairly accurate after the turbo?

If you do want pre turbine temps, my advice would be to use a 6mm instead of the 3mm you probably have? I think the Stack probe is 4.something mm
