Default Slight juddering on overrun

Loking for ideas as Ive changed just about everything now.

RST(KE jet). It does everything as it should. Warms up nice and slowly lowers revs etc. Mixture is set at 3%. It runs lovely with no issues at all apart from overun below 2000 revs you can just feel slight juddering. Also, when warm on tickover it ticks over smooth but does the odd little 'pop'. I can get it to tick over loads better, really smooth with no pops if I retard the timing a little, but then its set at less than 12 deg, more like 10.

any ideas?

Does it cut the fuel on overrun?

Just thinking, as the tickover is a little unsmooth with the odd 'pop' etc, and essentially a car on overrun is tickover in gear whilst in motion, could it be the fact Ive got a stage 2 head with cam yet not a vernier yet to fully time the cam up?

The fueling should be cut on overrun until about 1800rpm via the map.
It could be that the injectors are nackered and are letting fuel in and its denting?

Injectors are quite new mate.

Tonight I got a kent vernier. I set the engine to TDC marks with the std cam pulley on. Removed it. Set the kent pulley spot on with the std pulley (woodruff mark together, then TDC mark together) and then fitted the vernier to the cam. Fitted belt back on and tensioned it and the cam timing was 5 degrees retarded at the std setting! So I set the vernier to zero and it ticks over MILES better, no popping etc. Smooth! So hoping a road test tomorrow shows the juddering gone. That will do then until I get time to have it all setup

I have this problem although its not a massive problem just annoying more than anything, on tick over my one will sort of pop very lightly every 6 seconds or so on tick over, my idle is set up at 1,500 revs. While in gear and no acceleration it seems fine but ill check that out more when i drive away after work, i have to check my spark plugs today too but im due a new Loom being made as my one is over 20 years old lol and may also be causing the stutter in the otherwise smooth hum of the exhaust.

when i accelerate lightly sometimes it judders slightly from 2 - 3,500 revs might have to get this looked at too, but i think it may be the very old loom ive got or a tiny bit more timing adjustments needed.
