ford ones are about £40 which is extortion for a relay BUT they work reliably and should see you right for another 20 years. i got one (ford) oiff ebay and its as youd expect a genuine item.

HAd one on my RS fitted it in august parked the car up after using it about 200 miles til end of october and in febuary i did and oil change and started to get it ready for spring. The pump had seized up or something. Didnt think anything of it and bought a another one. Yet to drive the car as back then i didnt know the pump had buggered up, so my resto is all down to the pump. If it didnt seize up id never of did the resto.

There's no chance I'd be risking my engine by fitting a cheapo pump! I would only ever buy and fit Bosch pumps. Matt Lewis sells them for circa £100 on the bay and I think that's the cossie one which will be fine. I've been lucky in the past though and have bought Bosch pumps off eBay new for around £60 when they do pop up
