My advice on this.Get your self cctv and record every night as I do.A few Christmas's ago on boxing day night I had some knob trying to set fire to a car in my front yard.There were three cars all next to one another,one was only ago 3 years old and had just been filled to the brim with fuel.Another one had a gas bottle in the boot.My house would of gone up with my mrs 2 kids and me because the cars were only about 3 feet away from the front door and window.I came out and got a bottle of burning white spirits from under car with the g bottle in the boot,slightly warm faced and shorter eye brows later because it flared up I threw it in the street and managed to put it out.The end result was 7 years jail for the little fag,no bashing (yet) and all thanks to a cheap Ł100 camera.Get one or two fitted

I dont agree with the concept of just "taking it" and "moving on" especially if you know the criminal and have the capability to get back at him. The criminal justice system has clearly failed the OP.

IMO this country is well into the point when vigilante action just isnt immoral like it used to be considered. Too often criminals get off scott free and its getting to the point where it is beyond a joke at how much criminals can do and how ineffective and tied up in red tape that the police and CJS are.
