I dont agree with the concept of just "taking it" and "moving on" especially if you know the criminal and have the capability to get back at him. The criminal justice system has clearly failed the OP.

IMO this country is well into the point when vigilante action just isnt immoral like it used to be considered. Too often criminals get off scott free and its getting to the point where it is beyond a joke at how much criminals can do and how ineffective and tied up in red tape that the police and CJS are.
