i love the car to bits but whenever i use it for the 1st time that day it drives like a bag of dog turd.

i have a scangauge fitted and whenever it plays up it turns the scangauge off, and once back to normal it comes back on ??

it misfires through every gear and judders about as if its running on 2/3 cylinders. once warmed up and back to normal its fine

im running tubular manifold,
mongoose exhaust,
tuna remap
msd coilpack
k&n gen2 filter
running 22 psi


just for those who may wonder if it could be any of the mods.

also at around 10 psi theres a slight judder

any advice would be great

Keep it above a quarter

Mine does the same but starts perfect with half a tank in.

 

mine has started misfiring frm cold but only lasts 30 seconds or so. surley having under quater of a tank wouldnt cause this? mayb related to your issues

 

if it does it when below 1/4 wouldnt that point to dodgey fuel pump?

dose it only do it untill its up to temp? mine dose it too nothing to worry about it its nothing just dont boot it till its warm!

what base map are you on AF or AE as AE was always a pain for cold starts thats why AF was introduced but that can cause a cough at 4500rpm when tuning what are your plug gaps set at?and are they in good condition?

Different versions of the ford maps mate af is the revised map easy fix to this tho is let your car warm up before u spank it it's just over fueling cus of cold start
