Default BMW 328 sport question

Don't know if anyone can help but a mate of my had a clutch replaced in his 328 sport a few months ago anyway he had loads of problems with having the job done first was he didn't know it had a dual mass flywheel which he changed for a solid one however that didn't really work so was then replaced for a dual mass however he heard a funny noise from under it today and was having a nose underneath when he spotted this

what would you be thinking would it be something that would bother you or some thing you would worry about
Oh and I know this is a ford forum lol

For a temporary fix as that is part of the block that has sheared off there, I would use a large plate made to fit the recess between the bolt hole and black clip with a nut welded to it then bolted through from the bellhousing- That should provide adequate support.

I'd be a bit pissed off with the company that did the work though if they left my car like that :/

I had an issue with my 328i cab clutch years back as very soon after it was fitted the release bearing started rattling like fuck.
Sadly i'd had the job done on the cheap so couldn't really complain and to be fair aside from the annoying noise it functions fine.
Didn't notice it was dual mass though?however mines a 95 so maybe different on later ones?

It was also on the cheap however after having the dual mass replaced it cost best part of 700 quid.

He his very annoyed but I've also tried to say I'm sure wherever you took it to would they say anything to you or just leave it.

I'm just thinking is it a problem just one bolt missing I know in the past I've left bolts out the bell housing I know I'm a bodge
