why isnt the battery in my laptop charging??

I cant find any options anywhere to make it charge. I've looked in power options and it just says battery 0%

I keep knockin the power lead and the bastid dies instantly!

The light on the laptop that normally turns on when charging is permenantly out?

Help!?

 

easy... battery is dead.. happens a lot.. go buy a new one

bollocks! How much are they roughly?

 

From Ł40-Ł140 easily for a battery, i would contact the manufacturer and ask if there is a discharge procedure for this. It could be the computer thinks the battery is full. Discharging it can sometimes help.

 

As said, sounds like your battery is caputt!

 

Wouldnt the recharge light still be on though even if the battery was fooked?? Maybe the pc does think the batterys full. I think I've only ever used it on the battery four or five times.
