What size is best used for:

A mild steel roll cage
A N/A tubular manifold

The manifold will be for a 2.0 Zetec, standard bar a full exhaust, I'm making the whole lot including manifold so need to know what tube to use as I'm guessing too big will slow the speed of the gasses down, and too small will choke the engine?
