25ft/lb with arp lube, 31lb/ft with 30w oil.
do them up and loosen them off twice then torque down a final time and job done.

You need to check the bolt size!

From memory, the 25lb setting is for the smaller bolt, i had these in my CVH Farndon rods. My blacktop Zetec rods used a beefier bolt, and the torque setting was around 42lb. If you didn't get the ARP instructions with them, then i'd measure them and have a look on their website.

They are stretch bolts, so the undoing is about pulling the threads into perfect contact, or something like that.
Just what instructions said really, silvertops use the smaller 8mm bolts.

My focus rs rods (blacktop) uses small ones too!!

i was unsure so i spoke to ARP in america and they told me 25 psi and only do up once.. i did question this as ones used before did say about the torque to yeald method of loosening off but they said no !

i know eits old now but whats are torque setting for both sizes of bolt availiable using oil i am just finishing my zetec turbo havent got round to measuring bolt yet either uses 3/8 head on it tho
