I have a L8ECU with MSD stage3 chip, (803s, T34, Cooler std comp), closed loop, wasted spark, ALS and L/C and wondered what these might go for, I no longer want the ALS or Launch control so makes sense to simplify my setup

£350-£400. You may do better by selling the chip seperately.

I sold my L8 ECU with wasted spark conversion, no chip, for £300, but it took ages to shift, and that was probably a year or so ago

 

ECU is around 250 and chip i would say around 2-300

 

is the lc closed loop programed into the individual chip or the ecu itself??

 

The L/C and ALS is on the closed loop chip, wasted spark is a separate board fitted to the modified L8 ECU

Well I'm weighing up my options, I still need a chip to run my 803s, T34 .63 engine on the L8 so ideally if someone has a well respected tuners stage3 chip ideally MSD again, and wants to upgrade to closed loop(£240) Anti lag and Launch control (£450) I'd be happy to do a Part ex as I still need my engine running. Chip and cash my way= a cheaper upgrade for someone.

Brilliant, would you be interested in an upgrade to antilag, launch control and closed loop fuelling? If not then how much would you want for your chip alone, is it closed loop enabled out of interest?

The stage3 Chip for 330bhp, running the above spec T34.63, 4x 803s, closed loop, Antilag and launch control for a L8 is for sale at £400 posted signed for UK delivery, that's a £290 saving on retail, the L8ECU is NOT for sale now. Message me your best offers as this needs to be gone this week.
