Default Fitting bucket seats?

Hi guys im in the market for buying a pair of bucket seats as ive just caged my 3dr, and was wondering if you can use the seat runners/mounts from the original recaro's? Anyone done this?Cheers

usually not.

most buckets have side mount holes. Even the cheaper ones with bottom mounts, they are unlikely to match your seat mounts.

Also they will likely be too high.

You probably could, but get some proper frames to mount them on, I reckon its safer

i had cobra bucket seats in mine, and to get them to fit on my stanard seat rollers i had to put some scrap metal across the rollers then bolt the seat to the metal and the metal to the runners.

taken them out now cos they were painful ha!
