Are they strong enough?
I want to put an elbow on my inlet manifold, can i just by an ally 1 off ebay or are they too thin and not up to it?
Im going to get a proper firm to weld it up for me but i would like to get the elbow myself and mock it up before getting it done properly.

Or where can i get a stronger one from?
I want a 60mm 90degree bend.

I dont see why not as longs its of a sufficient grade and thickness.

what are you going be putting on the end of the elbow ? throttle body?

1.6mm is man enough for that.

 

Yea its to connect a std cosworth throttle body to the std 4x4 plenum.

Funny enough i just found some 60mm cardboad tube so will use that for a mock up.
