On the later Zetecs they use the same boxes, for example on a Focus, it is only the 2L has a different gearbox to the smaller capacity's, yours may be the same?
I know some people who are using 1.8 gearbox on 2.0 engine to get shorter gears. So I thought that mounting 1.6 gearbox on 1.8 engine would give me the same result
