Default Earths on my 3 door.

Having slight problems where all the lights on the dash, above the clock flash and go on/off intermittently.

Also, the moduel thing, that tells you the bulbs and the doors intermittently tells me all kinds of bulbs are broke.

Ive done abit research, and the first thing i need to do is check the earths. Could anyone point me in the right direction as to where these are and how should I tackle them??

And does anyone have any advise on what else I could check. They have got me worrie thats all???

Thankyou.

It's all part of the same system, that being the Auxillary warning/graphic display, it has two ECU's, on the Saph one behind each kick trim, should be the same on 3DR.

I can never remember but I am sure the one on the drivers side is the lamp failure module but as you have problems elsewhere I would check the main control one on the passenger side, there is a common earth point behind the kick trims, which the system connects to, it's worth checking this hasen't rusted etc, brown btw is earth.

Thanks alot.

I will check both of those earths. Are there any plugs/connections there that i could check/clean?

Also, where are the other earths on the car as I want to check them all?

Various location for various devices as with all cars but check the 'common' one behind the kick trim.

If everything else works, don't try fixing what isn't broke

So the only earths that can relate to this issue are the ones behind the kick trim either side?

Yes (This is on a Saph, but yours should be just the same) remove the kick trim and you will soon tell as you will see multiple wires going into a connector secured via a screw.

Assuming it is an earthing issue of course!
