Default Installing Rear Beam Bushes

Trying to install the large main bushes into the rear beam of a 2wd saph, has anyone got any good tips? We've done it twice before with a fence post between the beam and a roof joist and a trolley jack underneath but it wont seem to work this time. The other times we have used poly bushes and this time its a pair of original rubber mounts adn we got the 2 ton trolley jack on its limit! Any help would be good

Thanks

Probably already tried it but would using a bit of fairly liquid on the bushes help?

I wouldn't mind doing mine sometime but they sound a mare to do.

Copper grease the bush and threaded bar with plate on 1 side and big washer on the otherside bolt it together to pull the bush into the beam and when it's tight hit bar with a hammer.

I've heard about the washer trick before, although the ally ones sound nice and easy!!? Do the ally ones affect ride quality too much???

I didnt find them any worse than the poly ones i took out, nowhere near as bad as i thought they would be,

the handling was totally different though, so planted.
