here's a suggestion for an article just a bit outside your area... modern automatic gearboxes and how their brains work, adaptions etc.

Good man, thats what they are there for, to help you guys out. Get some RBF 600 in it mate, its a good investment in the Sierra system for a guy who pushes his brakes hard.

An engine will be fine for 20s or so steady state, then you will get a massive crack of det e.g very high knock amplitude, completely randomly, on one cylinder. Engine is then fine for another 20s or so, exact same thing again.
It doesn't tend to be caused by a lot of the usual causes of det!

Cheers for these boss, best part of FF imop
May i ask a Question.?If so
Dont suppose you have/will do any on carb turbo tunning?
Appreciate its pretty much a digital revolution now but there are still a few of us who run analogue as we are poor
and cant find anyone who wants/can set up/advise on how its best to do so..
could do it myself but knowledge/experience are the proper tools to do so imop, it would go very pete T if i got the screw drivers out
Do you cater for the old carb/turbo way of doing things?
Cheers again
