s2 wiring problem any ideas

Default s2 wiring problem any ideas

my mates s2 keeps blowing the fuse that controls the wipers we put 1 in and it just pops so we put a 30amp in and the wiper stalk started smoking so we replaced that but still everytime a fuse gets put in and you turn ignition on it pops weve changed the wiper motor under the bonnet and still the same any ideas ?

Unplug the wiper motor and see if it does it...

Also,

Check the wiring that runs round the front of the car. Mainly round the radiator area as I once had a car do exactly the same and the rad had cut through the loom...

Not got the wrong relay in there have you?
5 pins for adjustable wiper and 4 pins for non-adjustable, mine did the same until I changed it

its been fine for about 2 years matey so i dont reckon its that


daz im gonna go and have a look now he said it didnt blow it when the motor was unplugged but he changed the motor today and still the same but im gonna check the wiring upfront
