5 pins for adjustable wiper and 4 pins for non-adjustable, mine did the same until I changed it
its been fine for about 2 years matey so i dont reckon its that
daz im gonna go and have a look now he said it didnt blow it when the motor was unplugged but he changed the motor today and still the same
but im gonna check the wiring upfront
