Hi there has anyone owned or knew anyone that owned Focus RS build no 0454. Poss looking in to buying but have noticed it has an odd head light. Are the HPI checks any good on phone's. Thanks to anyone that can help

 

With those wee details that you've picked up on, I'd pay for a proper HPI check rather than one of the mobile phone ones.

Thanks for that mate, never used a phone check before so be best to pay Ł20 for normal one!

 

No bother mate, I'm not sure if it was on here or not, but I remember reading about someone that used the phone HPI which told them it was clear but later on they discovered that it was actually a CAT D write off.

As I said, with the wee bits you've spotted and the slight doubt already, it will put your mind at ease to get a proper report done.

The txt check doesnt tell you if there is any finance owed either mate i always use rac as they ere pretty good but here are loads out there for about Ł15.

 

Get on the RSBB and go to the mk1 frs section. There's a list of known cars on there.

Thanks for everyones advice, did a decent HPI check and all came back ok just a couple of previous private plates. Glad i did it for piece of mind
