what car is it?
if it deffo was TOTALLY fine, just before the rebuild.
the mechanic dropped some shit down the oil ways, and either blocked the pick up, or
has fukked the bearings.. ?????
water not drained out fully, and has got in with the oil when head was taken off??? spose that would make the oil go like mayo though,
lol

chevrolet tacuma mate, oil pressure problems before rebuild, pick up cleaned, engine flushed, head skimmed and had a new head gasket. the oil pressure is fine on tick over but drops when the engine is under load.

any other ideas? chevrolet told my dad its ither the oil pump or the engine bearings without checking it themselvs, so the mechanic is checking the engine barings.

if the spring in pressure relife valve is worn / weakend, then there wont be enough pressure to open it on idle, but when revved theres enough pressure to open it bit its opening too far as its weakend, that could cause it.
