Default Bizzare paint problem

hi all, i left my car last week and its fine. Today i went back to it as it looked like hundreds of 1-2mm round rust spots all over it. I actually nearly cried now i.ve tried polishing out scrubbed it like a bitch for hours and its get the most of but if u look closely they are still there. Has anyone come across this before? At first i thought it was fallen pollen from a tree but i guess that would wash out, its a yellowy brown colour just like rust. Someone please help cheers luke

This will do the job http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...decon-gel.html if it is metal contamination, spray it on and any contamination will turn purple then rinse it off

It's called industrial fallout, a good polish will get rid.

Definately try the ironx , or maybe a purpose paint cleanser . SRP may well not have enough cut to it to fully remove the marks

if you have metal particles rusting on the surface of the paint, the last thing you want to do it polish the car, you will be dragging the metal particles all over your paint and creating microscopic scratches which will effect the clarity of the paint, you should clay the car first to remove all the contaminants an bits of metal and only then should you polish it

If your paint feels rough, clay should take the roughness off

You dont need to clay before,if you only want to get rid of the metal contaminaiton just use ironx or the wolfs product as per my link, you can use clay to remove it but its a lot harder work and it costs more for a clay kit.
Ive had some iron contamination that was easly removed with claying, ive also had bad cases were claying was a very long process and iron x was far far quicker

Iron X is used as part of the decontaminating stages usually after claying and paint cleansing if required .

Thats what i,m sure i read on DW about this although of course you dont wanna be rubbing dirt around with clay . These iron deposits were trying to remove can sometimes etch themselves very slightly under the actual surface so no claybar will get them. Just be sensible about it, clay after to make sure everything is definately gone yes and if its caked in bad iron contamination then use IX first after your wash process . You dont want to clay a load of 'large' filling about on paint
After claying a bad suface it may well be in need of machine polishing to correct the marks .

ok mate, i would upload before and after picks but im on my phone so i cant. A good old hard wash got the worst of but apparently if u wash or wax it with the rust still on as it will leave tiny scratches all overt the paint.
