Default When you get to a show , what to do when ?

Next sunday as we all know is FORDFAIR , i dont have the pleasure of a trailer to take my fezz up so i have a good 180 odd mile trip to get there .

Now the problem I face is:

My car will be spotless when i leave home but im pretty sure ill be pickin some hitch hicking bugs and dirt/ brake dust up on the way ( hopefully not rain )so whats the best way to do a quick detailed clean when i arrive at the show ?

I need a list of a kit to take up with me and what to use in what order

most/all of my cleaning stuff is meguirs.

many thanks

Ben

When i get to a show the first thing i do is find the bar!.......

Nah only joking mate, i take a bucket fill it with water and use a microfible to give it te once over, then polish etc, i dont wash it due to it would of been spotless before it left my house so would need minimal work.

Saw your car in FastFord mag Ben, looking good mate

ONR wash soution mixed up in a pressure sprayer, few MF's let it dwell on the paint for a few mins then gently wipe the panel and buff, should be all you need to give it the freshly washed look

I get there, break out the quick detailer, give it a wipe over, and then bugger off and leave it for most of the day. Unless I'm abusing it on the 0-60 of course. Can't be bothered putting that much effort into cleaning

I just take a few cloths with me and a bottle of water.I just give it a quick wipe over i couldnt be arsed to spend to long cleaning the car at the start of the show.

I use meguiars speed detailer and a microfibre cloth. It works a treat.

meguairs quick detailer is good stuff! if its out the clay kit im thinking it must be the burgundy colour bottle?

if not the black bottle "ultimate detailer" also by meguairs is a good one too!

Im impressed with Poorboys QD+ at the moment, and thats what Ill be using when I get to FordFair, a quick detail with a microfibre, AG fast glass for the windows, and if needed a top up on the tyre gel! Everything will be spick and span on saturday as long as the rain holds off long enough to get it done and tucked away in the garage lol
