i would have thought for a stg 3 conversion it would be fine - just anything higher will require the Grp A pump.

Absolutely no problem what-so-ever if it is a gravity pump off a Sierra. Standard pump is good for up to 400bhp (make sure the wiring is okay though and you DO need to do a flow test and make sure the regulator is set to the correct static pressure - something that should be left to peep's that know what they're doing) .

Std Fuel pump is good to 380bhp reliably...you will be hitting about 330bhp so will be fine.

I was going to have a trip to m developments to get it setup when all the parts are fitted. I am presuming its just a standard 2wd pump thats on there at the mo, so you think this will do

A 2wd fuel pump, with an unclogged fuel filter and adequate power supply is just fine to over 380bhp no problem at all, its a fantastic pump in pretty much all respects.

The highlighted word is because im sick of wrestling off old knackered ones that have been on the car since new... 15yrs ago

Its in the carrier under the boot floor next to teh fuel pump.

look at it carefully BEFORE you order one as 99% of the time Ford will give you teh wrong one, far too large.

Ive taken these off before and when you tip them up nothing comes out of them their that clogged

Absolutely impossible for me to say pal, it truly is. If you choose us to set it all up we will asses its condition before we raise the boost anyway and do a cylinder leakdown test if required. rest assured if i think youd be better keeping the strain a bit lower i will be honest and tell you as ive no interest in any customer of mine losing an engine for the sake of a few psi...

you will need at least a grp a head gasket mate

thats all i had on mine and internally was standard comp cams pistons etc

500 intercooler
greens
a good breather system
t3 wont last long as i found out in two months but was original 90,000miles turbo
so i would say t34/5

then should fly mine did was very impressed

I presumed you were asking as it was very high mileage

She will be perfectly fine as she is by the sounds of things, just bear in mind the chip is VERY different for T34 so you best budget for one

I have a stage 3 chip i got off paul (nyrs) but to be honest only the owner of the car knew what spec it was for so i aint going to risk funking my engine for the sake of a couple of hundred spondulies. It will get me to your place ok wont it at a steady 70 80ish with no problems wont it

It will be fine as long as you dont thrash it TBH. The fuel maps start to differ massively above 5KRPM, but that said, given you dont know what you have now, best keep the boost to sensible levels and drive with caution and cash in mind

Good and very informative topic here all about the map differences.

Ye i sat on the sidelines during that little episode, bit to in depth for me tbh. It was that thread that made me realise i needed a new chip as i was under the impression stage3 is stage3 but that opened me eyes abit. Can you pm me a price to supply+fit a chip and setup me motor please stu. O and do you work saturdays cause that would suit me best cheers

The chip is Ł128 and a setup is Ł100. Both +vat.
Saturdays are fine but you will have a couple of weeks wait.

how do you know if the fuel pump is not capable of delivery enough fuel for the power that you want to run?

is it the case that the injectors are flowing so much fuel that the pump can not supply enough and the supply pressure drops off?

if so, i will build in that as an alarm feature on the engine monitor i'm building (based on fuel pressure and MAP) that should then sense that the supply pressure is not high enough for whatever reason (low voltage etc).
