Quiet car alarms. WTF

If they pass that one we might as well all sell up as teh scum will have a field day nicking everything in sight

HE WANTS to pass a law that makes car alarms as loud as traffic background noise

and the alarm must only sound for 90 seconds

I think his point (norman's) was that no one takes notice of car alarms these days suggesting the noise they make is useless... I can see his logic.

 

What ever happend to that alarm where smoke was filling the car if someone was trying to steal it? That was cool ..... but illegal still, wasn't it?

So if alarms have got to be "silent", what kind of deterrent shall we use? You can't electrify your car, you can't have smoke, you can't have an alarm.... you can't beat the little f****** because if you harm them they can sue you.....

Might as well leave the keys in and alll doors open... and also put an ad in the paper.... car to steal... please help yourself....
