hi guys my rs turbo is doin my head in!!!! I be driving along and it will be fine then the engine stalls dash lights come on when the cooling fan first comes on turn the key to re start the engine and it starts and seem to be fine even when the fan comes back on any idea's would be very greatfull cheers dave

 

You might have a very lean idle mixture thus the extra load on the alternator is enough to make it stall. You might be able to re-create this effect by turning on the rear heated screen, lights, blowers etc to full at the same time. Get the idle mixture set correctly using a gas analyser. Any MOT place should be able to do this. Check ign timing first though.
