You might have a very lean idle mixture thus the extra load on the alternator is enough to make it stall. You might be able to re-create this effect by turning on the rear heated screen, lights, blowers etc to full at the same time. Get the idle mixture set correctly using a gas analyser. Any MOT place should be able to do this. Check ign timing first though.
