hi all
pulled away from a roundabout, heard a bang (not that loud) and now car lacks power, you can hear what sounds like air being sucked when i put my foot down, but car is slow picking up speed
revs ok when standing still
any tips on what to look at

 

Turbo->intercooler or intercooler->throttle body pipes?

 

Would help if you put what car?

as i said heard a clunk (not really a bang) then the car was low on power, and the car was hesitate to pick up speed, when i put foot down it sounds like the cars trying to suck in air.

came to work in daughters car today, how to get home early enough to take a look around engine bay tonight

 

Sounds like a boost hose has split or popped off?

it was a booster hose that came off,
thank goodness for that,thought it was going to be dear repair
