removing OE stering wheel

Default removing OE stering wheel

trying to remove my steering wheel and the splines are really tight... but not seized.....

tried penetrating spray...
tried a 16oz dictator (hammer)
dont want to use heat as the wheel is mint and dont want to damage it...

any ideas???

im sure ive not missed anything

have you tried a good wiggle? don't forget to leave the nut on a couple of turns.

both yes and have the nut on a few turns. might have to borrow a puller i think.....

Chair back as far as it will go, feet up on dash board and pull and it harder than when your having a danger wank!

Deffo leave the nut on a few turns, you will get a black eye when it comes off otherwise

Have you informed your insurance company, if removing a air bag steering wheel insurer might want to say something, about removing a safety feature.
