i dont know about anyone else on here, but im seeing a growing number of people that cant wait there turn when queuing up for fuel, my local sainsbury's has 2 possible lanes for the pumps, which normally has 4 or 5 vehicles wating for a free pump to become available, then you get someone in a 4x4 or transit sized van join the back of the queue, then decide they cant wait 5 minutes, so pull out and slowly edge up to the front and then jump into the next available pump, this practice is starting to really piss me off

less annoying than women who get in the car then take a bloody eternity to start the engine and set off. JUST MOVE!!!!

 

or even worse the fucking wankers who sit at the entrance to the forecourt blocking any other cars from getting in because they wont move forward even though another pump is empty. if that happens and no one else will go round them then i cant see a problem if i go round them all.. if they dont have the sense to do it then its not really my problem..
but blatantly pushing in is shit yes.. although i put fuel in up to 8 cars a day sometimes i do get pissed off with dithering old cunts checking their lottery numbers before they drive off....

Why people get so worked up going to the petrol station I will never know. I normally just ignore dickheads in day to day life, however it is becoming increasingly more difficult.

 

what about the ones who put fuel in then do the grocery shop before they come back out...

 

What about those knobbers who pull up to a pump that has "pay at the pump", fill up then go inside and pay with a card!

 

THIS!! Dickheads!! At least have the common courtesy to move the fucking car before you go and do the weekly shop while everyone else has to wait!

The only time i feel its acceptable to push in is when you're filling up a jerry can.

Its almost embarassing when you think about it. Even my local tesco now has a security guard to manage the taxi que as people are incapable of being civil to each other and fight over taxis.

yeah thats very annoying aswell, i go to a morrisons station which only has 2 pay at pump pumps, and when its busy you get people go to those pumps and pay inside I normally go when rush hour is over though, i.e 9:30 pm or before work at early AM

 

1:

you are going into a petrol station to fill up with fuel, not do the equvalent of a weekly shop before paying while leaving your car at the pump you ignorant self centred twat!

2:

Women - Once you have paid and returned to your car, get in turn the key and fuck off!
dont spend 10 mins checking you make-up in the mirror, changing your fucking shoes and chatting on your mobile phone before moving away from the pump

3:

Queue in the appropriate late that facilitates fueling your car properly (EG in the lane that means your fuel cap is next to the pump!
The number of fucking twats that pull up and the stretch the fucking pump over the car because the fuel filler is on the other side.....Cunts!

4:

If both pumps are being used, then both vehicles move away at the same time and there are two more cars queueing, if your in font GOTO THE 1ST FUCKING PUMP YOU TWAT!
DON'T MOVE TO THE BACK PUMP AND GET OUT LEAVING THE FRONT PUMP EMPTY AND MAKE THE PERSON BEHIND YOU GO ROUND YOU TO USE THE PUMP IN FRONT YOU IGNORANT TWAT!

I agreed with everything else, but not this - they are designed that way so you don't have a bunch of left hand cars waiting and the right hand pumps empty.

 

In some stations you can use boths sides if the lines are long enough, but most will sit for hours because they think the pump wont reach

Why wait when the fucking thing is designed to go both sides of the car... you just have to be careful with the recoil ones as sometimes they're not quite long enough.

 

I should of elaborated further, but i was in a rush when i posted!
It's annoying when the pump they should of used is empty and the person is struggling to stretch the pump over their car to fill up at the one your waiting for!

Personally I dont ever use a pump that means I have to do it, I'd rather wait for the appropriate pump.

I think for most people its the worry that the pump won't reach and you'll look like a complete bell end trying in vain to stretch it across! For the sake of just waiting an extra few minutes at the pump on the right side most people, myself included, would rather just wait. Surely 99% of the time people aren't in SO much of a hurry they can't just wait?!

Seconded, with a hatchback its easy to park up rear end in line with the pump and filler at the other side as saves waiting unnecessarily

When people do this to me, I either squeeze past or go right round the outside of the pumps and reverse to the pump in front of them leaving my transit at an angle so they cant go until I have finished, and it takes a long time to fill a transit when empty, knobs!!!!
