FRST Air leak testing
Dose any one know how to test for air leaks ,it sound like its coming from the inlet manifold area iv checked the pipe work and cant find it i did have the half inlet off when i did my beiges but it was a rubber gasket that looked new ish so i didnt change it .
It didnt bother me at first but now the cars keeping the revvs on when im changing gear and at lights
any help would be appreciated

With the engine warm idling, spray some brake-cleaner onto the suspected areas.
When the engine sounds different or the rpms change you've found the leak.
Alternative: take it to a garage that has a smoke-tester.

or do what i do and get a short piece of exhaust pipe like 4 inches long that fits the pipe which your air filter goes. weld a flat plate on one end, drill a hole and put a tyre valve in it and youve got your own air leak tester and all you do is remove your air filter and fit it in the pipe then put about a bar of pressure in it and youll very quickly hear the leak and you will find it straight away
