well long story short,

my dads gone to malta for a week of diving, but i advised him to take a detour to Hal Far raceway to grab a few pics for me if he had some down time.

anyway the lucky bugger did go and came across a mk1 escort testing.

limited spec i could gather was

blacktop zetec turbo
turbo: GT40
running 35-40 PSI
and making 620BHP

has run 9 1/4 second passes

He got a ride on the return run sitting on the rollcage crossbar and to say it was uncomftable is an understatment

and a blue cam belt. nice! lol

 

think 620BHP is the highest ive seen as well, no dought someone has made more but im a big fan of high power zetecs

 

i think blue cam belts are normaly made of kevlar..
